Elevator Installation in Houston

New vertical transportation is a long-lead item that other trades schedule around. Prime handles it from the first drawing set through the certification that lets you occupy, with in-house engineering so the design questions get answered inside the project instead of out for review.

What is covered

  • Passenger elevators

Hydraulic and traction. Low-rise through mid-rise, geared and gearless.

  • Freight elevators

Rated for the load class and duty cycle the building actually runs, not the one on the spec sheet.

  • Machine room-less (MRL)

Where floor area is the constraint. Full hoistway and overhead coordination.

  • Escalators and moving walkways

Retail, transit, and high-traffic commercial installations.

  • Cab design and finish

Interior design and 3D rendering in house, so the owner sees the cab before it is built.

  • Lifts and dumbwaiters

Accessibility lifts, material lifts, and dumbwaiters for hospitality and healthcare.

How it runs

  1. Consultation

Site walk, traffic analysis, and equipment selection against your building type and occupancy.

  2. Design and permits

Engineering package, shop drawings, and permit submission. In-house licensed engineers and a 3D rendering team.

  3. Installation

Hoistway prep, rail and equipment set, wiring, and coordination with the general contractor's schedule.

  4. Certification and handover

Testing, TDLR inspection, and turnover with documentation and operator training.

What you get out of it

  • Design questions resolved inside the project, not sent out for review
  • A certification date the GC can actually schedule against
  • Documentation and training at handover, not six weeks after
